Success at the Cheese World Championships
Stefan Jud from Degersheim did exceptionally well at the 2010 Cheese World Championships in Wisconsin/USA where his Appenzeller® cheese found favour with the palates of the expert jury. He took his place at the top of the victory podium above Walter Sommer and Otto Werder, who were judged equal second. A total of 2300 cheeses from 20 different countries were entered for the World Championships. The SO Appenzeller Käse organisation congratulates the winners and is delighted about their outstanding results.
