The Exhibition Cheese Dairy in Stein, Switzerland has attracted tourists from around the world and teachers and students from the region since 1977. In the Appenzell Exhibition Cheese Dairy, which was newly opened in 2007, you can experience first-hand how Appenzeller® cheese is made. The main highlight at the Exhibition Cheese Dairy is the impressive cheese cellar in which more than 6,000 rounds of cheese are regularly treated with the herbal brine. Further highlights include the authentic Alpine dairy, the beautiful restaurant with its original Appenzeller recipes and the Appenzeller® cheese shop with its extensive offer.

April to October:
Daily from 8:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.
Daily cheese production until 5:00 p.m.
